Allow Java

By default, SuperShield blocks the use of the Java Runtime, however, you can enable the use of Java Runtime on your computer if it is needed for programs to run.

If the SuperShield system tray menu is enabled:

  1. Click on the SuperShield icon in the lower right corner
  2. Go to Protection Level
  3. Select Allow Java
  4. Click Yes on the warning prompt

This should now allow any applications that run Java to run.

If you do not have the SuperShield system tray menu enabled:

  1. Login to the PC Matic web portal
  2. Select the device
  3. Go to SuperShield Options in the Device Options menu
  4. Set the Java Runtime option to Allow
  5. Click Save at the bottom of the page

This should now allow any applications that run Java to run.
