Devices Page

The devices page serves as the default homepage for a company and lists all the devices with PC Matic deployed.

At the top row, you have the ability to filter and sort your devices based on the following criteria:

Device Name: The computer name listed in system settings

Device Type: The computer make and model

Last Seen: The last time the device was connected to the PC Matic server

Group: This is  applicable only if you have elected to use the groups feature

IP Address: This is the last recorded IP address at your devices most recent server connection

Status: Server Connection status, Protection Policy, SuperShield Status, RDP Status

You can also search one of these criteria specifically in the search box in the upper right corner.

To access the Filter Devices window, simply click on the filter icon located above your list of computers. Within this window, you can choose a specific search field and query your endpoints using various criteria such as installed software, operating system, IP Address, software versions, and more.

By clicking on the name of a computer, you will gain access to more detailed information and greater control over the individual endpoint. The performance meters for CPU, RAM, and available Disk Space are updated approximately every 15 seconds, but only while the computer is powered on and you are actively viewing this page.

In the right side column, you can utilize the Actions features to create an alias, Reset Global Mode, add notes, schedule a scan, use Remote Access, and remove the endpoint from your account.

Click the device name to visit the Device Options page to view device details including device

status, SuperShield settings and report, and to use Realtime Tools.

Bulk Actions

To access the bulk actions menu, you must click the check box beside at least 2 of the devices in your list as shown below:

Once you have selected one or more endpoints from the list, you will have access to bulk actions. These actions allow you to assign computers to groups, reboot computers, Reset Global Protectoin mode, customize account lockout settings, and uninstall or delete computers. If you wish to select all endpoints currently in view, you can do so by clicking the green box located at the top of the leftmost column.
